In 1988 Dunfermline won the BP Youth Cup, and 25 years later their young U20 side has made it through to the SFA Youth Cup final at Hampden.

Winners in 1988 were:- Craig Timney; Martin Feenie, Ray Masterton, Stuart McVicars, Andy Williamson, Scott Ferguson, David Sinclair, Ray Sharp, Sean Strang, Ian Black, Paul Gribbon. Sub: Greig Donaldson.

Lee Bullen was in the squad but did not play in the final which was played at East End Park.
