A life long Pars fan John was appointed chairman on 11 June 1999, just after their relegation from the SPL, and at various times board positions on league and association bodies in addition to his club role.

Roy Woodrow joined the Board in 1986 and was chairman during which time the club reached fifth place in the then Premier League and also managed two league cup semi-finals.

An avid supporter of the Pars, and a good friend of chairman Leonard Jack, Mr Rennie joined the Board as a director in 1971.
