Roy Woodrow joined the Board in 1986 and was chairman during which time the club reached fifth place in the then Premier League and also managed two league cup semi-finals.
After following the fortunes of the club since childhood, Roy joined the Board in the early part of 1986, along with Blair Morgan. The appointment of these new directors coincided with the team’s surge to the top of the Second Division and subsequently Championship win with promotion being won to the Premier League one year on.

Roy was managing director of Woodrow’s of Dunfermline Ltd (Aerated Water Manufacturers) based on Pitreavie Industrial Estate.
